hey claire i'm 16, i've been suffering from fibromyalgia since i was 2 years old, i was finally diagnosed when i was 11. basically the diesease better known as FMS is pain in the muscles near to the joint area. it is very painful and can cause lack of sleep. the best thing about this condition is that some weeks or even years you'll be fine then others you wont.
through researching i have discovered that many sufferes are found to have low magnesium levels, it may be an idea to talk to your doctor about magnesium tablets. sleeping tablets are also an idea (i am on antantyrptilyn) naproxyn is an anti-inflamitry tablet which prevents the swelling of the muscle.
