April '93 a Rheumatologist diagnosed me having fibromyalgia. Immediately I
followed his orders, taking pain medication, sleep aid, anti-depressant,
vitamin C, E, and multiple B Complex and calcium. The medicine helped
relieve the pain... but giving me a very groggy and lifeless feeling. I
also exercise about 30 minutes at least 5 days/week in a non-impact aerobic
exercise. September '95 I started with the saturation amount of ProVex and ProVexPlus (half of each) which is 1 capsule for every 25 lbs. of body
weight and 2 each of Cell Wise, Mela-Cal and Mel-Vita. I also drink several
cups of Melaleuca Tea a day. In less than 2 weeks I was free of my pain
and the 3200 mg of Ibuprofen I was taking per day just to cover the pain I
suffered. A new life was beginning to fill my body. I felt alive and
radiant again. My husband said he'd noticed I wasn't so groggy and lifeless
acting.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in October '94... Symptoms: pain,
depression, headaches, general aching, sleeplessness, occasional nausea,
alternating diarrhea, stiffness of joints... my doctor (a world-class
rheumatologist) started me on a series of medications that would hopefully
relieve the symptoms. One problem: I have adverse reactions to pain
medications. Over the winter of '94-'95 I struggled with various dosages
and combinations. The toughest was that Evavil (for sleep) was consuming
more and more of my day just to get awake. In May '95 I asked my doctor if I could get a second opinion and she was most open to that, so I went to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in late June '95. About 10 days before I went to Rochester I was introduced to ProVex Plus by a man in my church. My wife, a registered nurse, had been uncomfortable with two things: the level of my pain (and disintegrating health in general) and the level of medication and what it was doing to me (there were always several adverse side effects). We discussed the ProVex and at that point she was open to anything. So, I started at the recommended "jump start" of 400 mg per day (for me) for the first week. At that time my medications were DayPro 1200 mg daily, Evavil 100 mg daily, Inderal 180 mg daily, Firocet (for headache) as needed and ProVex. I discussed the ProVex with the doctor at the Mayo Clinic: Whynot? If it works, great. If it doesn't you haven't lost anything.
Besides, I really believe that anti-oxidants are the coming thing in
medicine. Mayo Clinic kept me on the same medications with the exception of recommending that I take Aleve for headaches as needed. After five weeks, I knew there was definite improvement. After six weeks I began weaning myself off the medications and went "cold turkey" at seven weeks. In late August I was able to say to my church that I was entirely pain free and medication free (in May I was almost totally dysfunctional). I am taking 200 mg of ProVex Plus per day, plus Aleve when needed. I still struggle with sleeplessness sometimes, but find that exercise helps me to sleep more than anything else. I have tried three times to back off the dosage and three times the pain has come roaring back. I also just recently tried a certain health food brand of grape seed extract and it was like getting the disease all over again. ProVex Plus is truly special... it's the only thing that works for me... and it works gloriously. I am also taking CellWise, MelaCal and Mel-Vita... I am feeling great and more functional, effective and creative than I have been for years. Thanks to ProVex.
