I didn't know that there was a term called enterococcus until about five minutes ago. A friend phoned and said her newspaper had an article about this bacteria saying it can "cause" fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. I was told at my onset of fibromyalgia or at least by the time it was diagnosed that an "unknown" virus was what caused it. I also contracted chronic fatigue syndrome farther down the line about five years. I now am fighting something that seems to be connected with a disease I had in childhood called: guillan barre' syndrome. I didn't know that existed until last year and i'm having difficutly with not only pain and fatigue but I also am struggling with the ability to use my left arm and hand due to numbness and burning. (this also can go with fibromyalgia) I have trouble with my left leg dropping out from under me and my whole left side is now not able to sense temperature. If my therapist puts her hand to the right of my spinal column I feel warmth but when placed to the left of the spinal column I can only feel the weight of her hand. I am not doing well with my pain now either. I'm on several meds and without any side effects to the pain meds. I cannot keep the pain under control any longer. I don't know if this helps you, but I appreciate being able to share what I've found.
