The old saying about "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is." I noticed a lot of companies saying they were using latex but they were actually using foam....which is a very inexpensive material that most mattresses are made out of. This is not a good option becuase it is made out of toxic materials and does not last very long. There was no way that my family was going to spend a third of my life on stuff like that. Yuk!
You can usually tell by the prices. If the prices seem too low...then there is probably something wrong. Quality materials are not cheap to use and most manufactures will not even use them becuase they are so costly. As you can see, I did a lot of research before deciding on mattresses for my family. I'm glad I did.
Most people don't even know what they are sleeping on. And manufactures know this so they put the cheapest stuff they can in them to keep the prices down and maximize their profits. This is pretty much how almost all of the mattress industry works. It can be really hard finding companies that make mattresses out of high quality natural materials.
