I learned this technique from a book,i can't remember the name,
but this is what you do........lie back and recall a natural
place that you really thought was beautiful;someplace down by the
river or stream or on a mountain;now imagine you are in a hammoc
k in this beautiful place and the hammock is rocking slowly,back
and forth,now count one and two as the hammock rocks,one,two,one,
two and breath in on one and out on two,,,one,two,in,out,,one in
breath,two out breath,lying there in that beautiful place rocking
back and forth,,this technique uses all of the capacities of the
mind to calm and relax you,just try it and see..
