I am looking to but a mattress for my second child. I prefer a mattress w/o springs. For my first child I purchased the Amsterdam from Abed. It is a latex mattress and we have been pleased with the quality. So now we need to buy another mattress and I noticed on eBay these low cost vacuum packed mattresses that talk about Eliocel and Verflex, neither which I have ever heard of. The price is tempting (~$140-$170 for twin including shipping), however, I know you usually get what you pay for. Anybody know anything about these materials and whether combined with a 3" memory foam topper would be adequate for a child's bed? If not, I'll probably just order another latex bed from Abed. A little more expensive, but no biggie.
