Same thing as everyone else, I have had this as long as I can remember. Here's the kicker though, I have a 5 month old son and fiance. I don't wake up to him screaming in my ear (which scares the hell out of me). I don't wake up for anything. My fiance tries for almost 2 hours to wake me up, by then she is so frustrated and angry that I don't wake up it makes for a very uncomfortable day. She doesn't understand I have no power to control this.
I have never been one to sleep early in the evening. I normally do not fall asleep until 2-6am. I have went to bed at 10pm and still the same problem of waking occurs. I was told I have a form of insomnia...but the more I read these forums the more it sounds nothing like insomnia. I just know something needs to be done...otherwise I may loose my fiance and my son.
